  • Forms of persuasion that rely on emotional
    appeals rather than careful arguments based on
    all the facts. Media propaganda (advertising)
    tries to get you to buy something.

  • There are many different forms of propaganda that
    advertisers use to appeal to their audience.
  • Each type of propaganda has its own purpose.

  • Using a twisted humor to get someone to agree
    with an idea or buy a product. For example, one
    might use negative humor about an apposing idea
    or product to make the suggested product/idea
    sound great.

  • Find these people, sit down together, and quickly
    introduce yourself.

  • Starting with Humor, you will each discuss your
    propaganda technique. You will then explain how
    you sold your product using that technique.
  • After Humor, please continue counter clockwise
    around the table.
