Introduction

• Our project is about Pinar Su's distribution
  optimization
• In our project we aimed to meet the whole orders
  and maintain new customers
• We are aiming to achieve opportunities and to
  gain benefits for Pinar Su in the market
• We are trying to create fast, modern and
  systematic working environment

What did we do?

• Searched many articles
• Tried to understand distribution optimization and
  demand allocation problems
• Developed 4 models to cover different
  possibilities
• Learned to use GAMS software
• Applied models by using GAMS
• Tried to get optimal solutions for all models
  with unreal data

• Focused on allocation problem
• Aimed to minimize total cost
• Dealed with many types of costs such as
• -transportation cost
• -production cost
• -holding cost

We are working on

• A model for multi-period time
• -to decide how much to order in each time period
• -to minimize total cost
• -try to add different constraints (i.e. inventory
  balance constraint)

• Revision with Pinar Su selection of the models
• Improve the models
• Set up new models

• If the companys needs and the models are not
  matched with each other we able to set up new
  models
• In such a position we can follow these steps
• -To determine what we need for the company
• -To research articles , try to find same problems
• -The new articles has a vital in that point of
  understanding , appling , and to ferret out the
  information
• -Develope models
• -Apply the model by using GAMS
• -Make sure that the model has a optimal solution
• -Debate the solutions with advisors

Conclusion

• We have already create five different models for
  PinarSu
• The most important point is the requirements of
  PinarSu
• According to the needs of Pinar Su some new
  models will be set up and also the models that we
  have already set will be improved
• Research literature is vital for both activity
