All about NSPCC!!

• There are 180 community-based team and protection
  help throughout England, Wales and Northern
  Ireland.
• A free, 24-hour child protection help line that
  provides information, advice and counselling to
  anyone concerned about a child's safety.
• They increase understanding about child abuse and
  gives advice and support on parenting.

• Child protection training and advice for
  organisations involved in protection and
  education of children. For example, local and
  health rights, sports bodies and young people's
  groups.
• Information resources on child protection and
  related topics
• Fundraising thought-out individuals which
  provides 85 of the money needed to pay for our
  work to end cruelty to children.

What is cruelty

• Cruelty to children can be all sorts. i.e.
  Physically, Mentally, Verbally, and
  Psychologically.
• This occurs when a parent or guardian acts upon a
  child in a inappropriate way which then the child
  then feels upset or uncomfortable. THIS IS CHILD
  ABUSE!
• This is where NSPCC steps in!

How we can help...

• We can help by buying a NSPCC band which is only
  1!
• You can donate money online, in a charity shop or
  in your local newsagent.( the little pots)
• You could organise an event to raise money or
  participate in a sponsored event.

• Fundraising ideas our group had
• Karaoke lunchtime in the Hall, tutor groups and
  teachers teams in a competition. Each team will
  pay 5 to enter and the audience will pay to see
  the event.

• Sponsored silence, this would be popular with our
  teachers!
• Selling cakes at 20p each to 100 people to make
  20
