The Challenge

MASHAV - the beginning

• 1957 - Golda Meirs personal commitment to
  international cooperation led to the creation of
  Israels Center for International Cooperation,
  MASHAV
• 1958 - Israel launched one of the worlds first
  development cooperation programs in Africa
• To date, almost 200,000 participants trained in
  MASHAV courses in Israel and abroad
