• Oldest girl in the family two younger sisters
  and two older brothers
• Moved frequently through England so father could
  farm
• Went to day school
• Requested frequent privacy for quiet and study
• Mother died in 1782

• Opens a school with best friend Fanny Blood and
  sisters Eliza and Everina in 1784
• Associates with many liberals with strong
  political standings
• Fanny Blood dies in 1785, leading to schools
  close in 1786
• Writes her first pamphlet in 1786,Thoughts on the
  Education of Daughters
• Asked to governess Lord Viscount Kingsboroughs
  daughters in Ireland

• Writes her first childrens book, Mary, a Fiction
  in 1788
• In 1788, Wollstonecraft translates Jacques
  Necker's On The Importance Of Religious Opinions
• The Female Reader is published in 1789 no copies
  are still in existence
• In 1792, A Vindication of The Rights of Woman was
  published
• Publishes Historical and Moral View Of The Origin
  and Progress of The French Revolution in 1794
• Letters Written During a Short Residence in
  Sweden, Norway, and Denmark is published in 1796

..Relationships..

• Meets and becomes pregnant by Gilbert Imlay in
  1793
• Daughter Fanny is born May 14 1794
• Discovers Imlay had been cheating on her in
  London and becomes severely depressed, leading to
  two attempted suicides
• Meets William Godwin and becomes pregnant again
• In 1797, the two marry because of
  Wollstonecrafts pregnancy
• Gives birth to Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin in
  April 1797
• Dies of birth complications ten days later
