    in two phases

    equipment that deliver MEF compliant Ethernet
    services
  • Phase 2 Focus announcing today!
  • Extend the program to assure enterprise and
    residential subscribers that Service Providers
    can deliver consistent Carrier Ethernet services
    compliant with MEF specifications

    Ethernet World Congress in Berlin on September
    13th, 2005
  • 39 systems from 16 vendors already certified as
    complying with the MEF Carrier Ethernet service

  • Provide comparative basis for end-customers to
    pick and choose Ethernet services from multiple
    providers
  • Make Ethernet services more attractive to
    enterprise subscribers with strict requirements
    for service quality
