Status of CHEG on WiMAX

• In ITU 8F 21 meeting (January 2007), IEEE
  WiMAX Forum submitted WiMAX (called IP-OFDMA)
  intended for inclusion in Recommendation ITU-R
  M.1457 as part of IMT-2000.
• Following ITUs procedures, WP 8F initiated
  evaluation processes by Circular Letter
  8/LCCE/153 (14th February 2007)
• In 2nd March, Chinese Evaluation Group registered
  to ITU 8F, and announced interest and
  contributions to relevant activities in ITU

• Kick off meeting was held in 5th March.
