  • Christianity began in Jerusalem, Israel during
    the 1st century A.D., soon after the crucifixion
    of Jesus Christ.
  • It expanded globally during the Age of
    Exploration (15th-17th Century).
  • Based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the
    Bible.

Beliefs
  • Christianity is a monotheistic religion.
  • Followers believe in one God, and his son Jesus
    Christ.
  • The symbol commonly associated with Christianity
    is the Cross.

Earth, Heaven, and Hell
  • God created the Earth and the Heavens in six
    days.
  • Praising Jesus saves believers from Gods penalty
    for sin and bestows eternal life in heaven.
