  • Public services widespread across Europe
  • Commercial services alongside free servicescan

Road Traffic Information Group
  • New joint working group set up by TMC Forum and

  • Establishing requirements for TMC and beyond

Icon Task Force
  • Objective to improve the perceived quality of
    TMC services, through an agreed use of Icons on
    the displays of GUI equipped TMC-enabled
    terminals
  • Recommended icon set for the graphical interface
    to the user
  • Guidelines harmonising which icons are associated
    with defined TMC messages.

New Features Task Force
  • Objective to add features to enhance todays
    TMC
  • Backwards compatible additions which wont
    cause obsolescence problems

  • If further National Authorities are encouraged to
    implement TMC then the TMC Forum can support them
    in this task
