Football Game
It is the Super Bowl Sunday. However, it is
raining cats and dogs, and none of Mikes friends
are going to show up for the party at his place.
He sends a network invitation to his friends and
they all agree to meet over the network. When
the match starts, Mike issues a voice command and
the poles holding the surround speakers and mini
screens descend from the ceiling. Mike and his
friends can see one another on the mini screens
and talk freely as if they were in the same
living room. Halfway through the match, Mikes
brother who is at the stadium calls Mike and Mike
is able to see him on one of the screens. They
are excited that the Steelers scored.

Video Game
FF 2020, the cutting-edge multi-player network
game, has just been released. Ben was interrupted
from his reading by an alert his computer has
automatically downloaded the game, as Ben has
preordered the game. He is delirious. He jumps
into the couch with his wireless controller,
ready to save the world. The sensors identify
Mike and his activity. The poles holding the
surround speakers and mini screens descend, the
temperature drops, and the lighting dims. This
automation is based on Mikes preferences. When
Mike turns to his sides, he sees his teammates
and is able to talk with them face-to-face. They
are ready to battle the worlds evil as a team.

Thanksgiving
Its Thanksgiving. After dinner, Marcy and her
children catch up on the good old times. Marcy
shows a slideshow she has made out of her
childrens childhood photos. Marcys husband
cannot make it back in time, as he is stuck with
work in China. He is able to call in and
participate with the rest of the family. Marcy
realizes halfway through that she forgets to
prepare deserts and decides to order some
cheesecakes from the Cheesecake Factory right in
the living room. It is delivered to her house in
less than 15 minutes. They tease Marcys husband
for being able to see the cheesecake but not able
to eat it. (There is no Cheesecake Factory in
China!)
