Care Quality Commission Inspection 4 of the
prevention and control of infections Our overall
judgement On inspection, we found no evidence
that the trust has breached the regulation to
protect patients, workers and others from the
risks of acquiring a healthcare associated
infection.
Healthcare Commission 4d. the cleaning
arrangements detail the standards of
cleanliness required in each part of its premises
and that a schedule of cleaning frequencies is
publicly available. Overall, the standard of
cleanliness on the wards is good. We
observed Domestic and nursing staff to clearly
understand their roles and responsibilities for
cleaning and the prevention and control of HCAI.
