Calculation of GPA

• GPA Grade Point Average, is used to measure the
  academic performance of students and is a base to
  determine the honor classification.
• Grade point A 4, A- 3.7, B 3.3, B 3, B-
  2.7, C 2.3, C 2, C- 1.7, D 1.3, D 1,
  F 0 (fail).
• Let wj and Xj be the units and grade point of
  course j, respectively. Suppose you take n
  courses. Then GPA is calculated as

• The full exam calculator policy (Use of
  Calculators during Course Examinations) by the
  Registration Examinations Section will tell you
  everything you need to know before you purchase
  your calculator and take the exams. While you can
  use any of the approved models, you may wish to
  consider two models of business calculator that
  are currently authorized for the Chartered
  Financial Analyst (CFA) exams
