What is an Anadromous Fish?

• A fish that turns from fresh to salt water.
• They change from fresh to salt in an Estuary.
• When they change to an Adult or Smolt.

Steelhead Life Cycle

• First stage is when theyre in eggs.
• Second, once they hatch they turn into Alvins.
• Third stage is when the steelhead turn into Fry.
• The fourth stage is the Fingerling.
• In the fifth stage, they turn into a Smolt.
• Then they become an Adult.
• Last but not least, they turn into a Spawner .

Ways To Help

• Recycle your trash.
• Ask your teacher if the class would like to
  volunteer to help the Steelhead fish.

  near rivers and streams.
• Free the fish you catch when your on a boat.
