What is a BID?
A Business Improvement District (BID) is a
partnership between businesses in an area to
improve their trading environment business
performance. Businesses come together, agree a
set of projects, how they are going to manage it
and how much they are prepared to pay. This is
set down in a legally binding business plan which
goes to a formal vote of all those who would have
to pay. If the majority vote YES then ALL have to
pay. It lasts for a maximum of 5 years.

  Public Agencies setting out what they have to do
  already.
