Meet the baby

• You are to create a A5 single sided invitation
  card using MS Publisher to invite members of the
  family and friends to meet the new born baby.
• You can choose the baby to be a boy or girl and
  give it your own name.
• The invitation must include information on
• Name of baby and the relation to you
• Who the invitation is for
• Place, date and time
• A suitable message
• A suitable picture

Examples
This is an example of a birthday invitation card.
This is a level 5c or 4 card as it is not clear
who is invited and where the event will take
place.

By the end of lesson

• All pupils should have a A5 invitation card set
  up with a suitable image
• Most pupils should have the invitation set in a
  presentable formal way ready to be printed.
  Pupils can also gain peer feedback on their work
  in order to improve it.
