What is Full Text?
  • When the entire content of an item, such as an
    article, book, or encyclopedia, is available in
    electronic format.

  • Convenient
  • Easy to access (on or off campus)
  • Quick
  • Eliminates leg work
  • Articles can be saved to disk, e-mailed or
    printed

What if You Dont Have the Full Citation?
  • Enter as much information as you can into the
    form.
  • You may have to take a couple of extra steps to
    get to the full text of the article

What if there isnt a Full Text Link?
  • Not all databases are full text. Some databases
    only provide you with a citation for articles
  • Even full text databases (like EBSCOHost) are not
    completely full text. Some articles will only
    have a citation
  • What to do?!?!?!?!??
