21Duty Status
Title 32 Under day-to-day control of the state
Adjutant General for operational control and
missioning. The 4th WMD CST can be deployed to
an incident site at the direction of the Adjutant
General without approval from the Department of
the Army, Department of the Air Force, or the
Department of Defense. Title 10 The 4th WMD
CST is subject to be called to federal active
duty. If so, the unit would then fall under
operational control of the DCO or the supported
Combatant Commander designated C2 element.
22Whos In Charge
The 4th WMD CST will provide direct support to
and take operational guidance from the Lead
Federal Agency and the Incident Commander. The
Adjutant General of Georgia will command and
control the 4th WMD CST through the Director of
Joint Operations. When deployed outside of
Georgia, command and control will remain within
the military structure.
