About the Museum

• The museum is a charitable, non-profit
  organization
• Located at the original Winnipeg Airport Terminal
• The Museums success and development could not
  have been made possible over the years without
  the thousands of hours donated by the museums
  volunteers

Hangar

• The hanger houses 24 different types of aircraft
• There is a bush gallery with planes that are on
  skis and floats
• Also has many vintage aircraft from WWII
• Planes are brought to the museum to be restored

Windsock Shop

• One of Canadas largest book collections on
  aviation
• Items include model aircraft, DVDs, childrens
  toys, and much more
• Great place to go to buy gifts for aviation
  enthusiasts

Skyways

• Skyways is a childrens discovery zone where they
  can do hands-on learning
• The exhibits in Skyways demonstrate airflow,
  gravity, propulsion and many other aspects of
  flight

My Job Responsibilities

• Working in the gift shop
• Welcoming visitors and collecting admissions
• Tour guiding
• Helping out in the office
• Any other duties that were asked

Exciting News The Ghost of Charron Lake

• The Fokker Standard Universal airplane was found
  by the museum search team that was in Charron
  Lake
• The museum was searching for it for 30 years
• I assisted the receptionist with contacting all
  the media and press and helped organize the press
  conference
