Jerry Daly President, Daly Gray Public Relations
  • Jerry Daly is president and co-founder of Daly
    Gray Public Relations, a communications firm that
    specializes in the hospitality industry. The
    firms expertise includes investor relations,
    business-to-business and consumer/marketing
    public relations, strategic planning, employee
    communications, crisis communications, community
    relations and advertising. Daly Grays clients
    range from small, start-up companies to some of
    the industrys largest corporations, including
    publicly held companies and private investment
    groups, hotel management companies, associations,
    hotel brokerage firms, hotel associations,
    financing companies, industry suppliers,
    architects, designers, consultants, entertainment
    companies and casinos.
  • Dalys background includes more than 25 years of
    experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to
    forming Daly Gray in 1987, he was the senior
    communications officer for Promus Hotel
    Corporation, formerly Holiday Corporation.
    During his eight-year tenure with the company, he
    played a key role in the successful launch of the
    Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns and Crowne Plaza
    hotel brands. In addition, he oversaw all
    communications for Holiday Inn and Harrahs.
    Daly previously was director of public affairs
    for Sara Lee Corporation, and also worked for two
    of the worlds largest public relations agencies,
    Burson Marsteller and Harshe Rottman Druck (now
    Ruder Finn, Inc.).
  • His results-oriented work has been recognized for
    its creativity and has received more than 50
    international, national and regional awards for
    creative problem-solving, including the Silver
    Anvil and four Golden Quills. Daly holds a B.A.
    in journalism from the University of Tulsa and
    completed his graduate work in public relations
    at Boston University.
