Introduction

Old Yeller is about a boy finding a dog and the
things they do. In more detail little Arliss
finds old yeller and asked to keep him. Travis
took over the farm while there dad left with
people in Bird Song Creek to go to somewhere else
and get money for the family he will be gone for
over a month.Travis keeps the dog, and Bud Searcy
lost the dog and tried to get him back but he
doesnt.There are a lot of adventures for Travis
and Old Yeller and little Arliss and old
yeller.If you want to know more about Old Yeller
try reading the book or watching the movie.

• Old Yeller is a dog that got found in the woods
  by Arliss.Then Travis let him keep Old Yeller.Old
  Yeller got badly hurt when he saved Travis from
  the hogs.If I was Old Yeller I would feel proud.

• He is15 years old .He took over the farm while
  his dad was gone.Travis had a lot of
  responsibility.Travis would get a horse if he
  keeps things around the farm together.He is lucky
  to have Old Yeller there to help him.

Little Arliss

• Little Arliss is only five years old.He likes to
  play in the drinking water.He found Old Yeller in
  the woods.Old Yeller caught things like fish and
  other little yet hard things, so that he could
  make a lie to make him look good.

Momma

• Momma is good at fixing wounds.She can take good
  care of the house by herself. Momma and pa
  started Bird Song Creek. Momma carried Old Yeller
  home and made a game out of it so Arliss would
  not feel bad. She hit a wolf with a pan so the
  wolf would not eat them and they could run away.
  She was nice and cooked for Bud Sercey a lot and
  she cooked for people who came over long enough
  to eat at their house.

• The bat cave is a place with bats (of course).
  It is a marvelous sight if you catch the bats
  flying out. Travis had to go in there to get
  their hogs marked. There are prickly pears in
  the bat cave. I imagined a ledge in the cave.

• The spring is where the wolf attacked momma. The
  spring is where you would go to tell someone
  something you did not want everyone to hear. It
  is a clean river. I imagine it would be
  beautiful.

• Salt licks is a place where lots of animals go,
  that are good for hunting.I think that by the
  description in the book that it is a forest.

• Pa left to get money for the family but he left
  the family unprotected.
• Old Yeller got bitten by an animal with
  hydrophobia.
• Travis got badly hurt and left Old Yeller in the
  cave even though old yeller was hurt.

• They had to kill Old Yeller
• Travis hurried home and told momma

Who this book would be good for

• This book would be be good for people that like
  to read because I thought it was long and it had
  tiny writing. If you like a lot of description
  then it would be good for you. I thought it was
  a good book even though I am not a good reader.

What I thought about the book

• I think it was a good book. I also thought there
  was a lot of Old Yeller saving people and people
  getting hurt. I thought Travis was happy that the
  dad got home to look after the house.
