Math Textbook should stay at home.

Homework
  • To receive full credit students must complete the
  • entire assignment.
  • (Incomplete assignments may be turned in for half
    credit
  • providing it has been completed and all work is
    present.)
  • Each hw will count 20 points toward a weekly hw
  • grade.
  • Hw is 10 of the six-week average.
  • Absent students need to make up the assignment.

Quizzes
  • Quizzes may be given at any time.
  • They count as 30 of the grade.

Tests
  • Tests will be given on Tu. or Th.
  • They count as 60 of the grade.
  • If the student is absent,
  • the quiz/test must be made up.

All graded quizzes and tests are returned the
day after they are scheduled. Once in a blue
moon it may be two days after.

Test Corrections (pre-algebra ONLY)
  • Test corrections add points onto the test grade.
  • You may use any source to obtain a correct answer
    on test corrections.
  • Any student with any grade can do corrections.
  • They are due the day after I return the tests.

For Algebra students only
  • Semster Exam
  • Part One - Wednesday, January 13th
  • Part Two Thursday, January 14th
  • Final Exam
  • Part 1 Friday, May 28
  • Part 2 Tuesday, June 1
  • These count 16 of the final grade.

For students to be successful in math
  • Students should make sure their behavior does not
    interfere with their classmates right to learn
    or my ability to teach.

For students to be successful in math
  • Participate in class discussions
  • Write down examples done in class
  • Ask questions and/or come in for help
  • Check website if you forget your hw assignment
  • Do your homework
  • Check homework answers in the back of the book
  • when possible (most odd problems) or self
  • checking ws and rework missed problems
  • Do test corrections
