• Anne dreams of becoming a famous dancer or

• She is constantly thinking about all the things
  she took for granted before she went into hiding
  such as being able to go out and play.

• While Anne is attempting to be as quiet as a
  mouse so her family is not discovered, when she
  hears sounds of cars stopping in front of their
  building, and she becomes stunned with fear. p.36

• Anne gets into arguments often, especially with
  adults. p.50
• She often talks about her feeling with one of her
  roommates, Peter. p. 167

Heart

• Over her stay in hiding she begins to fall in
  love with one of her fellow hideaways, Peter. p.

• She and her father are very close, and she
  relates to him very well.

• Anne often works on writing new entries in her
  journal. Also, she has to work on her
  schoolwork, since she is a student.

• Anne is constantly in fear of the Green Police
  discovering her and her family in hiding. She
  even has a nightmare that could have put the
  family in risk of being discovered. p. 75

• Anne has conflicts with her mother all the time.
  It seems as though they just dont get along. p.

• Food is rationed to extreme measures, and when
  Anne smells the food while her mother is cooking
  her stomach growls with pain.

• Anne loves to dance for fun. Since she is all
  cooped up she cant do much, but dancing is one
  thing she can still enjoy.
• Studying is definitely an activity she doesnt
  like to do.
