Plan" Guide
17
Creating a 4-year Plan
  • The most important factors to remember when you
customize YOUR schedule are1. Be sure to
include courses required to graduate. 2.
Challenge yourself, but do not CRUSH yourself.
You should not need a group of tutors to pass
your classes, and your life should include more
than just homework. On the other hand, if you
never have to open a book at home or study for a
test, you may be wasting your potential! 3.
THERE IS NO GENERIC RECIPE FOR A 4 YEAR PLAN.
You need to study various colleges to find out
exactly what they expect you should be doing.

Off-Campus Classes
  • If you decide to take an off-campus course, AND
if you want the course you are taking to appear
on your CCA transcript, you must follow all of
    the steps below
  • Speak with your counselor to discuss your reason
for pursuing an off-campus course. He or she can
determine if the course will meet graduation
requirements and if adding the course to your
transcript will help you in any way.
  • Submit an OFF-CAMPUS PERMISSION FORM. It must be
filled out completely, including all applicable
    signatures (student, counselor, registrar, and
    parent).
  • When you are finished with the course, it is YOUR
responsibility to have an official transcript
form the institution where you took the course
sent directly to the registrar at CCA.
  • Students can apply a maximum of 30 credits
off-campus coursework to their high school
    transcript.
