  membership

  integration study

• Initial Thoughts

• Create a 10-15 member workgroup made up of
  combination of TWG members and workforce-related
  advocates/experts
• Review national literature regarding mental
  health and addiction workforce issues, e.g.
  Annapolis Coalition
• Focus on specific workforce issues that have
  emerged to-date from various committees/workgroups
  , e.g.
• Addiction licensure
• Delivery and Financing
• Consumer Service Reviews/Evidence-Based Practices
• Recovery Specialists
• Recruitment and retention of key professionals in
  shortage areas (psychiatrists, psychologists,
  advanced practice nurses, masters prepared
  clinicians)
• Create an action plan for mental health and
  addiction workforce development in Indiana
