Technological transfer
The Politecnico di Torino is interested in
developing permanent relations in research and
education with industries that want to take
advantage of university collaboration for
innovation, and development. The Politecnico
Business Research Centre, within the Cittadella,
is the place dedicated to cooperation in research
and education between the Politecnico and
industries. Spaces for offices, laboratories and
industry facilities are available for this aim.

It promotes the growth of the ICT District in
Piemonte, in synergy with the other local
players. It is the first technology district in
Italy to provide central coordination in order to
dialogue constantly and coherently with other
districts in the world. It works out the
strategic guidelines of the District

to bring about levels of excellence in RD and in
technological entrepreneurship comparable to the
top class industrial clusters in the world.
