  • Polimoon has the ambition to take a greater part
    of the Scandinavian packaging market. As apart
    of this a decision has been taken to create a new
    and more powerful organisation, under joint
    management, with the ability to offer more
    complete packaging systems in the Scandinavian
    market.
  • The new organisation, consisting of Kongsvinger,
    Kristiansand and Stjørdal will in this way get a
    unique possibility to use the total competence
    within marketing, sales, RD, production and
    logistics.
  • The organisation change is effective from 1 March
    2001.

  • Polimoon har bestemt seg for å ta en større del
    av det Skandinaviske emballasje markedet. Vi har
    derfor besluttet å skape en ny og slagkraftig
    organisasjon, under felles ledelse, for å kunne
    tilby mer komplette emballasjesystemer i det
    Skandinaviske markedet.
  • Den nye organisasjonen bestående av Kongsvinger,
    Kristiansand og Stjørdal får med dette en unik
    mulighet til å utnytte den samlede kompetansen
    innen markedsføring, salg, utvikling, teknologi,
    produksjon og logistikk.
  • Organisasjonsendringen er effektiv fra 1.mars
    2001.

  • Sales, marketing, manufacturing, logistics and
    research development within a defined division.
  • The Vice President is responsible to ensure that
    the sales, profit, cash flow and return on
    capital targets of the division are met.
  • Shall together with the Senior Vice President
    Packaging set divisional targets, objectives and
    define the organisation and strategy.
  • Is responsible to implement the strategy of the
    division.

  • Is responsible for defining and implementing the
    sales and marketing of the division. With
    marketing is the responsibility to identify
    customer needs and ensure that they are satisfied
    with suitable products and service through
    manufacturing, distribution design and promotion.
    With sales is the process of giving an item in
    exchange for money. The Vice President is
    responsible for the price and product mix at
    divisional level. The Vice President is
    responsible to develop the customer base of the
    division.

  • Logistics and Manufacturing. The Vice President
    is responsible to ensure that the factories
    manufacture products to a competitive cost and
    meets required quality levels. The Vice President
    is responsible to ensure that the logistic flow,
    which is the process of procuring and supplying
    products and services to a customer is efficient,
    and to a lowest possible cost compared to
    quality. The Vice President is responsible to
    ensure operational excellence through supporting
    the general managers to develop and maintain cost
    efficient operations.
  • Research and development. The Vice President is
    responsible to ensure that the division is
    developing and bringing competitive products to
    the market in line with the development of the
    market, customers and competitors. The cost for
    RD should be competitive.

  • People Management. The Vice President is
    responsible at divisional level to sustain a
    working environment that attracts, retains and
    develops committed employees.
  • Business Planning. The Vice President is together
    with the Senior Vice President Packaging
    responsible to quantify and formulate expected
    future events and results.
  • The Vice President is responsible to create a
    strong focus on operational excellence by
    providing cost competitive products through a
    well utilised and lean organisation, and ensure
    that the organisation and structure is adapted to
    remain competitive.
  • REPORTING
  • The Division Director reports to the Senior Vice
    President of the Polimoon Group and is a part of
    the executive management team.
