Picture yourself on a journey through two amazing
rivers. The Mississippi and Nile Rivers are two
of the most powerful natural wonders of the
world. The Nile is the longest river in the
world, located in northwest Africa. The Mighty
Mississippi (Algonquian or Big Water) located in
central United States, is the third largest
drainage the world.

• The names of the beginning and ending points of
  both rivers.
• Summarize the wildlife surrounding both rivers
  (animals, plants, forest, or deserts).
• Compare and contrast the climate of a given
  place.
• Explore the different cultures of both rivers.
• Gather information from each journey and relate
  it to your own culture. .
