• Unfortunately there arent a lot of funny stories
  that the authorship committee runs into.

• Dont tell horror stories
• Not even the one about the person who had been on
  the experiment for five years, but had never been
  proposed for authorship, UNTIL he HAD to be added
  in two days before a paper was submitted. (Got
  him added too! For that paper and later as a full
  author.)
• Nor the one about the student who was about to
  get his PhD, had done only a few shifts and
  couldnt understand why he wasnt yet an author.
• Or the one about the above students adviser who
  couldnt figure it out either.
