No talent, no treasure, just a little bit of time

• Outreach for the Hungry makes and brings lunch
  to Neighborhood House, a soup kitchen in downtown
  Charleston. We cook and serve once a month. We
  use food donated by parishioners.

WHAT WE DO

• Each of our four cooking team meets in the
  Madden Hall kitchen on weekend mornings to cook
  big pots of soup, chili or macaroni
  casserole--enough for about 300 servings!

WHAT WE DO TOO

• Each of our three serving teams meets at
  Madden Hall at 10 am and drives downtown to serve
  lunch. The team heats and serves lunch and
  cleans up. They are back at church by 2 PM.

Outreach for the Hungry

• Christ has no body on earth but yours,
• no hands on earth but your hands.
• Yours are the eyes through which He looks out
  with compassion
• upon the world,
• yours the feet with which He chooses to go about
  doing good.
• For as He is the Head so you are the members
• and we are all one in Christ Jesus.
