Mosquito / Vector Control Program Responsibilities

• Locate breeding sites for larvaecide applications
• Place and monitor mosquito traps for adulticide
  applications (fogging) within the community when
  necessary.
• Surveillance of areas for over-watering and
  creation of possible breeding locations.
• Maintenance and upkeep of equipment and
  supplies, shop, and pesticide storage area.
• Other duties Bee and critter removal

Mosquito / Vector Program

• 2 full time, year-round employees
• Program is funded through tribal budget
• Priority jurisdiction is to tribal community
• Work with several different entities
• Yuma Pest Abatement Dist.
• Yuma Co. Health Dept.
• Imperial Co. Vector Control,
• Indian Health Service
