30,000 members!

• During the 2001-05 timeframe, NSBE averaged
  12,300 members
• FY06 - 18,125 members, 4,031 Alumni Members
  (includes affiliates lifetime)?
• 46 increase within 2 years (alumni membership)?

• Chapters can use NOL to reach out to past members
• Work with chartering new chapters
• Associate the at-large members to a chapter
• Once you have identified an At Large Member who
  wants to be a part of your chapter, contact your
  Regional Alumni Chair Elect so that the update
  can be made in NOL
• If you identify a new member be sure that they
  indicate you as the referral in NOL
• Identify First Year Alumni Members (free NSBE
  membership for graduated seniors) and associate
  with chapters
• Identify Graduating Seniors (for Spring 2009) and
  market AE
• Graduating Seniors Reception _at_ PDC TPC

Change in the distribution of National AE Dues.
Usual Distribution

• This change is new beginning in FY 04-05. In
  order to support the newly re-formed RAEBs, a
  portion of the National dues were re-allocated.
• This change was approved by the NEB for 3 years.
  After that point, the distribution should be
  re-evaluated.
• We are at the re-evaluation point

• NOL Chapter membership may be different than
  local chapter membership roster
• Enhanced functionality limited to specific
  chapter positions
• President/Membership Chairs
• Not able to get information on other chapters or
  regional information
• Sometime clunky interface, Prone to crash,
  browser-sensitive, Non-help Help/Support

• Active Chapter Status
• 4 officer positions assigned to members
• 10 paid members
• Uploaded constitution
• Definition of members
• Active - 50 dues paid for the current year
• Expired - an individual has not created a
  membership invoice for the current fiscal year
• Unpaid - the latest membership invoice has not
  been paid off.
• Usually an individual who has set-up an NOL
  account, but never paid dues
• An individual can be either or be both expired
  and unpaid.
