    majority scarce professional skills (Civil
    engineering, quantity surveying, structural
    engineering)

Future Plans for Organisation
  • CETA has engaged the GDE in an effort to align
    the learnerships with the FET curricular- Task
    team in place
  • Facilitation of workplace experiential placement
    with FETs
  • Encourage learners, particularly women and youth
    to consider entepreneurship
  • Continue setting provincial targets on scarce and
    critical skills
  • Challenges- Rural provinces are dominated by low
    NQF level courses.
