Proposed Scope

• To insure service interoperability across
  heterogeneous networks
• Evaluate the interoperability of specific
  services to identify issues, clearly describe the
  identified service interoperability problems,
  document requirements for solutions to these
  issues, and outline the pros / cons of possible
  approaches to satisfy these requirements.
• Where appropriate, Best Current Practices (BCP),
  new P-headers, or new event packages would be
  developed to address the requirements identified
  by this group.
• Where changes to the core SIP specification are
  implied, this will be referred to SIP/SIPPING for
  development of any new protocol elements
  described in Change Policy for SIP (RFC 3427).
