Getting Started

• Go to cweb.powerengineering.ca

Login

• Already registered? Enter your username and
  password here, then click the Login button.
• First visit to the site? Click here to create
  your account.
• Forgot your username or password? Click here to
  receive your login details by email.

Choose Course

• The Companion Website offers online Power
  Engineering content at the 5th, 4th and 3rd Class
  level. Select the course youd like to view
  either from the main homepage, or the Site
  Navigation panel located at the left of every
  screen.

Course Pages
Each course page contains learning resources
designed to aid you in your studies. Content is
presented in the same order it appears in your
textbook.

Learning Resources
Three types of resource are available Movies are
videos or animations of concepts and procedures.
Some contain audio, so be sure to turn your
speakers on before viewing. Learning Activities
(LA) are interactive animations. These launch in
a new window, and require Flash Player to
view. Self Tests are multiple choice quizzes to
test your knowledge. The next slide will tell
you more about how to take a quiz.

Quizzes
Clicking on any quiz on the Course page will
bring you to this screen. Click Attempt quiz
now to launch the quiz. All quizzes feature
five questions drawn randomly from a bank, so no
two quizzes will be exactly the same.
Select your answers, then click Submit all and
finish to see how youve done.
