PROCESSING CLOSER TO DATA
Normally CPU sends each erasure
command separately.
Most erasure software performs the erasure by
using processor to send each individual erasure
command. Blancco has been able to push the actual
iteration to hard drives in SCSI/Fibre channel
systems. This puts less load to processor and
hard drive bus ending up to much faster data
erase ratio.
