The cinema launch of Finding Nemo had been a
great success and the DVD was launched three
months later. The Target audience was parents
with children under 10. The launch period was
February so not tied in with any gift giving
occasion. Volume sales were important so
there had to be an element of broadcast but
demonstrating that OOH could reach the target
audience and create Product interest was
important. bus rears and roadside 6 sheets
fulfilled The broadcast element and swimming
pools provided a perfect backdrop for the brand.

Finding NemoTargeting With Creative
The Posterscope planner persuaded the creative
agency to create a new piece of copy for swimming
pools only. This achieved, then bought a national
poolside campaign as an environment to reach
parents with children under 10. The creative and
location worked, reseach carried out on street
recorded the high awareness of the product, but
that the swimming pool creative correctly
identified as being seen at a swimming pool
generated the greatest conversion to intent to
purchase the DVD.
