vocational and educational planning.

(NCDA) is a founding division of the American
Counseling Association (ACA). The mission of
NCDA is to promote the career development of all
people over the life span.

9Time Investment
- This is a 120-hour course which is conducted over
a 20-week span. Weekly time commitments will vary
with the assignments and individual learning
styles. - Following the 7th week, all students in a class
will meet with the instructor for a 3-day
face-to-face group session. Attendance is
mandatory. Students must be present all three
days, for the entire duration of each day.
10Financial Investment
- The program cost for individual students is
1,575.00. The enrollment fee includes all course
materials as well as three lunches and
refreshments at the FTF session. - The training fee does not include the FTF
transportation, lodging, and additional meals. - Classes are limited to 20 participants

- Currently we have 28 GCDFs in Arkansas
- Additional 20 participants are now in training
- Next class is forming now and will begin May 5th
with the face-to-face meeting at Midsouth CC June
24-26 - GCDF Instructor training will be June 22-24 at
the Wilbur D. Mills Educational Co-op in Beebe - Additional CDF training classes will begin around

12To obtain the Global Career Development
Facilitator Credential
- Have a combination of education and work
experience as specified in the credential
guidelines. - Complete an approved CDF curriculum that includes
120 hours of classroom training and field
experience (The curriculum offered by Kuder ETA
has been developed by NCDA and is CCE-approved.) - Agree to be bound by a code of ethics
- GCDF Certification costs 100.00
- and 25.00 per year to maintain the credential

- Help people meet career goals by providing career
facilitation and guidance. - GCDFs work alongside professionals with more
extensive training in - government employment agencies, schools,
universities, corporate human resources
departments, private consultancy firms, and many
other settings.
