- In January 2005 San Diego and Imperial County
Community Colleges received a 2 year, 725,000
Economic Workforce Development grant from the
California State Chancellors Office to create a
Professional Development Academy.
4Program Objectives
- To develop, promote and deliver uniform,
employee-centered professional development
training that meets the needs of employers in San
Diego and Imperial Counties. - To create sustainable capacity for Community
Colleges to serve businesses. - To provide employers with a local, low-cost
option to train their employees for
promotability.
