3Who can access
Access to the Partner Portal is dependant upon
being contracted with Tiscali Business Services
- Tiscali maintain a database of all contracted
Partners - This database contains the Partners name url
(e.g. _at_uk.tiscali.com) - Your Tiscali Account Manager is responsible for
ensuring that this information is provided to the
Tiscali Marketing Team (marketing_at_tiscali-business
.co.uk) - Any additions must be approved by the Tiscali
Sales Director before they are enabled - Once a Partners details are loaded into the
database, a Partners employees can request their
individual user accounts for the Partner Portal - This process is simple and automated (described
in following slides)

How to access
7Registering for access
Once a Partners details are held within the
Partner Portal Database (see previous slides),
users can register for access to the Partner
Portal
- There is an automated access approval process
- Simply click on the register button to access
the registration page - Enter all the required information - ensuring
that the email address is an official business
address for the Partner concerned - Once you submit your application you will
follow the user experience as detailed over the
next few slides - If a registration is attempted for an employee of
a Partner not in the database they will receive a
registration failure message to this effect - If this happens, an email is then generated to
the Tiscali Marketing Team for consideration and
escalation to the Tiscali Business Services Sales
Director
NB Individuals are responsible for registering
themselves on the Partner Portal

1) Your webpage view will confirm that your
registration has been accepted and provide a
summary of the next steps

2) You will receive an email from Tiscali
confirming your registration and asking you to
activate your account This email based
authentication system is to ensure security. It
ensures that you work for the Partner you have
registered under and the email address is valid

3) If you wish to change your password at anytime
(or you have simply forgotten either your user
name or password) you can request a change
through the Edit My Account button
- The process is simple
- Choose the option you require, then enter in the
your email address where prompted. - You will be sent an email containing a secure web
page link (or confirmation of your user name).
Click the link to as prompted. - You will then be taken back to the portal to
enable you to request your new password it will
be updated allowing you to enter the Portal,
immediately
