GN 8210 ultimate sound protection
Quote .. we received calls from a construction
site and from a roadside phone booth during rush
hour. The results were impressive. . noticed a
marked decrease in background street noise, and
the caller's voice sounded smoother and less
harsh.

GN 8210 the legislation
GN 8210 is designed for the new legislation -
Guaranteed max daily exposure 85 dB(A) with any
phone system, 8 hrs daily use. - Designed for
new upper action level 85 dB(A). Above this
level, employers must provide hearing
protection. - Between 80-85 dB(A), employers
must instruct in how to reduce noise levels. This
can be done by supplying agents with e.g. GN
Netcom instructions guide, showing how to use
volume control and cautioning employees to keep
volume levels down.
