• To use a dictionary, you must know how ABC order
  works.
• Words in the dictionary are arranged in ABC
  order!
• All of the a words are first, then the b
  words, next the c words..Get it!

Guide Words

• Guide words are words at the top of a dictionary
  page that tell you what the first and last word
  on that page are.
• The words on the page will be between the guide
  words in ABC order.
• Guide words are there to help you find the word
  you are looking for faster!
