• There are various tools that allow an employer to
  to record and evaluate there employees.
• There are keystroke monitoring systems that call
  tell the employer how many keystrokes per hour
  each employee is producing.
• Other software tools allow employers to keep
  track of how long an employee is away from the
  computer, what files are stored on the hard
  drive, and what sites the employee is visiting on
  the Internet.

Environmental Concerns Power consumption

• The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has
  calculated that reducing the power consumption of
  all PCs by one-half would save enough electricity
  to provide power for the states of Maine,
  Vermont,and New Hampshire, Cut U.S. power bills
  by over 2 billion dollars and reduce carbon
  dioxide emissions equivalent to the amount
  produced b 5 million automobiles.
