• Where do we stand?
• EOTA has produced a lot of output in terms of
• Approved ETAGs (19)
• Approved CUAPs (22)
• BUT EOTA members did not issue so many ETAs so
  far (93)

• Industry is involved
• in all 31 active Working groups and
• in the Technical Board
• BUT There are complaints of a lack of
  involvement

• EC funding for the development of new test
  methods should be available
• Speed is important procedures should be made
  faster (cf. third workshop)

  enforce deadlines
• Simplify the procedure of Green lights

  groups

Conclusions

• EOTA has performed well in the last years
• 19 ETAGS finalized
• 22 CUAPs finalized
• 31 active Working Groups
• A.B.s have issued 93 ETAs
• Concrete actions following EOTA seminar in order
  to solve remaining bottlenecks
• More service oriented ETAs for industry
• Closer link to RD networks
• Faster procedures
• But implementation depends on goodwill of all
  parties involved!
