Scope of the Project
  • The project guided by the details and the
    provisions of the Scan-ICT 2 Tool Kit focuses
    on
  • (i) The identification of a basket of suitable
    ICT4D status and impact monitoring indicators
    that Ghana should concentrate on to facilitate
    the monitoring and measurement of Ghanas
    progress towards the development of its
    information and knowledge economy The Ghana
    Basket of ICT4D Indicators
  • (ii) The development of a Framework to facilitate
    the compilation of the Ghana Basket of ICT4D
    Status and Impact Monitoring and Assessment
    Indicators in the Ghana Statistical System The
    Framework for Integration ICT4D Status and Impact
    Monitoring and Measurement Indicators into the
    National Statistical System

  • (iii) The Development of Tools and Mechanisms
    including Data Collection Schemes,
    Questionnaires, Sampling Frames, Methods,
    Procedures, and Structures for supporting the
    implementation of the Framework for Integration
    ICT4D Indicators into the National Statistical
    System The ICT4D Indicators Integration Tools,
    Methods and Mechanisms
  • (iv) The Ghana Core ICT4D Indicators
    Compilation and Analysis Demonstration Project.
    This will involve the compilation and the
    analysis of a selected number of the Core
