What is the ES-UP Tracking Tool?

• A way to track students in your program
• Track applications, acceptances, enrollments
• Track by gender
• Track by ethnicity
• Track outcome

Why should you use the ES-UP Tracking Tool?

• Provide evidence to show your dean, provost,
  etc., of the issues in your program
• Quantitatively keep track of the outcome of your
  efforts
• Assist in writing grant proposals
• ES social scientists will use the ES-UP Tracking
  Tool data, in combination with interviews and a
  survey to do a needs assessment of your program

How to get started

• You must be an Academic Alliance member, but not
  an ES member
• If a member members.ncwit.org, login, Extension
  Services, ES-UP Tracking Tool
• If not a member www.ncwit.org, read about us and
  contact academic_at_ncwit.org to become a member
• Work with your Institutional Research office to
  complete the data, they are accustomed to these
  requests
• Provide Extension Services with any feedback you
  have regarding the tool
