SiPMs production selection

• Pilot batch of SiPMs was produced in May 2004
  (1000 pc)
• Initial selection on wafers by semi-automatic
  probe was done by PULSAR (800 SiPMs passed
  selection)
• New SiPMs basic characteristics were checked by
  MEPhI (10 housed SiPMs)
• Main part of new SiPMs batch (5000 pc) are
  expected until middle of July 2004
• Precision plates for SiPM in tile installation
  are under production now. First 100 pc are
  expected at the beginning of July

RESUME

• Characteristics of the new pilot batch are very
  close to SiPMs tested in MINICAL
• 500 pc of the pilot SiPMs mounted on precision
  plate will be at ITEP before end of July (for 1-2
  cassetes)
• Production technology for ceramic precision
  plates was chosen. Expected accuracy ?20 ?m
• Batch with 5000 SiPMs are expected at the middle
  of July
