BACKGROUND

• The format will be loosely based on the Academic
  Technical Bowl
• Enhances the technical and communication skills
  of NSBE members
• Exposes membership to global issues (poverty,
  sustainability, etc)
• Improves the interaction between North American
  and International members

• Broad categories
• Poverty Alleviation
• Infrastructure Development
• Environmental Improvements
• 4-member North American teams paired with
  4-member International teams
• Grading criteria
• Economics, Problem-solving, feasibility

PROGRAM OUTLINE

• Chapters to pick their 4-person teams, select a
  topic from the 3 broad areas and send an e-mail
  to cpcimc_at_board.nsbe.org
• The teams will be assigned to an International
  team of 4 to complete the 8-person roster
• The competition rules will be sent once the
  8-person team is complete

• The goal of the contest is to increase technical
  and communication skills across cultures.
• The judging emphasis will be based on
• Clarity
• Conciseness
• Internal group feedback
