Science Park Movement in Turkey

• Started in 1980s with METU
• In 1991 SMIDO-METU Incubation Center has been

• In 1996 Techno-Parks Bylaw was enacted
• In 1998 METUTECH and TUBITAK-MAM approved as the

• In 2001 Technology Development Zones Law was
