  • Introduction
  • Special constraints of ad hoc network because of
    the movement of all nodes.
  • - limited bandwidth, limited power, high error
    rates,
  • Efficient power management is important issue
for mobile ad-hoc network due to the limited
    battery.
  • This research is for searching a novel method to
    reduce the power consumption.
  • Conclusions
  • Relay method needs many hop count that makes the
propagation delay longer, but it shows
prospective result to save power and communicate
for a long time on mobile ad hoc network rather
than full power method or power control method.
  • Relay method shows about 68 longer life time
than the full power method on this simulation
    experiment.
  • Experimental results are used to further
validate the performance improvements of the
proposed method. If the ignored assumptions are
considered as the other factor next research, the
results are going to be more accurate.
