What do I have to do to be a School Council
Representative?

• Approachable
• Good Listener
• Organised

• Collect the views of your class.
• Let your class know about what has been
  discussed.
• Take an active part in meetings.

Each pupil has a chance to be a Representative
and to vote.

• When its Election time pupils fill in their
  manifestoes.
• Each pupil votes in a secret ballot.

First School Times

• In March 2008 the School Council was proud to
  launch a school Newspaper called First School
  Times.

Our School Mantra

• The School Council organised a competition to
  create a Mantra for our school. Hannah Nash from
  year 4 won!

• A pupil design was chosen from each class for the
  mantra illustration.

• The School Council are currently making enquiries
  about recycling in school.
